Problem Note 61963: Namespaces are not added to attributes when XMLMap files are created from an XML schema

DetailsAboutRate It

Namespaces are missing from the XPATH syntax for attributes when the XMLMap file is generated from an XML schema.  An XMLMap file is generated from a schema using the SAS® XML Mapper.  If the XMLMap file is generated with an XML data file rather than a schema, the namespaces are correctly added to the attributes.

There is currently no workaround for this problem other than to manually add the namespaces for the attributes.
